As the weather gets colder and the nights draw in we have LOTS of change for you to enjoy at Things Happen Here this October because CHANGE IS GOOD.

NEW! We have a new layout inside to make our space that little bit cosier for you all to enjoy at different times with our movable keg wall with brilliant especially commissioned art by Lucca from our taproom team.

Depending on the day of the week or the event, our shape shifting keg wall will make the taproom bar or event space feel completely unique depending on how we move it and how we illuminate it. Every time you come over you could be visiting a different, space-how cool is that?!?

NEW! You can’t miss our outside evening lighting illuminating Things Happen Here and the outside tables-it looks great, welcoming and as warm as the summer sun!

NEW! CBD shots in any drink! Come over and add a CBD shot from CBD One Shot to the drink of your choice. We are the only venue in TQ9 with CBD shots available but we bet we won’t be for long. That’s the way it tends to go-imitation being the sincerest form of flattery and all that. Add a shot to a beer, spirit or juice and say you tried it at Things Happen Here first!

NEW! Our house lager,  Lager Calling is now available in cans to take home. Enjoy Things Happen Here’s Helles lager alongside lots of other takeout beers and trusty 2 pint takeaway options available in our fridges.

NEW! We have storage for bags, coats, toys and wellies for the parents of the younger members of our commiunity to put their childs belongings in and keep the floor clear and taproom clean when dropping in after school.

NEW! On busy, ticketted event nights we will have a cloakroom facility available to store coats and bags.

NEW! Say hi to some new faces in our team when you come over. The THH A Team Ed, Sasha, Alex, Lucca, Jac, Tilly, Aya Amy, Sasha, Evie and Natalie. Thanks to those that served the cause that have now moved on to uni or other stuff-Mia, Mya, Erin, Jasmine, Lily and Sylvie-you were all stars.

We are open 7 days a week and have books to read, games to play and TONS of events on from Bridge and Craft Clubs to gigs and DJ shows. Octobers events program is looking varied and busy. Grab a copy from the taproom or from the link in our bio.
