Who’d be dumb enough to start a record label in 2025?!?

Things Happen Here has set up Things Happen Here Records to document some of the great bands that have played at THH and the first release is a limited edition, twelve track, white vinyl compilation album, ‘How To Lose Friends And Irritate People‘.

Subtitled ‘New Noise From The South West Underground Scene’, the compilation features some of the best hardcore, indie, metal, post punk and alt rock from twelve vital bands on the current South West scene.

The South West UK scene is really vibrant at present with bands, labels, promoters and venues doing great things and like all the best comps, ‘How To Lose Friends And Irritate People’ captures what’s happening as it’s happening, to put you in the thick of the action.

We only promote shows by artists we genuinely like and we only release records that we think are great and this is a GREAT record.

Release date is Saturday September 27th to coincide with the album launch show at Things Happen Here. Pre orders are currently being taken.
